January: moved Janessa from Sandy, Utah to Glendale, AZ, and Janessa started working from home
February: Janessa had 3 bridal showers in Alpine, UT, Corona, CA and Yorba Linda, CA, and Janessa turned 28. We also spent our first Valentines Day together.
March: we were married in the LA Temple by Nathan's mission president and honeymooned for a week in Kauai.
April: Janessa was called into nursery and Nathan was called as the primary pianist in the Arrowhead Ranch Ward.
May: spent a week in California with both our families during Nathan's spring break.
June: Nathan started his fourth and final year of dental school at Midwestern University.
July: traveled to Kansas City and Branson, MO for Brad & Alissa's wedding, and St. Anthony, ID for a Jergensen family reunion.
August: traveled to Hemet, CA for Brad & Alissa's open house, and Denver, CO for Michael & Lauren's wedding.
September: traveled to La Mirada, CA for Michael & Lauren's open house.
October: traveled to Idaho Falls and Pocatello, Nathan was called into nursery with Janessa, and Nathan went out of town every week to interview for residencies.
November: traveled to New York City and Fairfield, CT, and spent Thanksgiving with the Jergensens. Nathan turned 28.
December: spent our first Christmas with the Clowards.
We also tried to go to the temple every month (we missed a month or two), go on dates every week (even when the dates are just a picnic outside on our golf course back yard), Janessa learned how to swim laps with Nathan, hiked in various places around Arizona, and spent lots of time with our new friends here in Glendale. It's been a wonderful year and we can't wait to spend more together!

What a great Year! I especially liked the line: Nathan was called into nursery with Janessa, and Nathan went out of town every week to interview for residencies! :) Hopefully he's back and helping you now! You guys are going to be a powerhouse couple no matter where you live and what you do. Keep up the good work!
